Don't try to fool us, Blue Cat, you've been gone for too long. Don't just "Hello!" us.
Well, I'm sorry. I have indeed been gone for a while, and here is the reason why.
I have been as un-productive as possible. Not intentionally, of course, these things happen. I've been knitting, more slowly, because I burned through my first ball of yarn in a matter of days and I don't want to finish my project too soon. (Strange philosophy, I know, but hey I never said that what I did made sense.)
Horrible picture, I'm very aware, but it's late and frankly, there is nothing I can do to fix winter lighting. I've tried, but for some reason, the sun just won't listen to me.
I have been trying my hand at animation for a school project and it looks something like this.
Yup. I'm kidding, I actually did some animation, but that is a legitimate part of my project (a humorous part, granted) and took up most of my Saturday.
The other part was taken up by horseback riding, which is my favorite thing to do ever, despite my horse (not really mine, but you know, he might as well be) Mack, deciding that he did not want me on his back that day. Thanks buddy, love you too.
Other than that, I watched Disney-Pixar's Brave for the first time. I loved it - no surprise there - because, let's face it: it was made for me. A movie set in old Scotland, with a warrior princess, a horse, three adorable little boys, magic, humor, action, sword fighting and archery. I was very happy.
I got a bow and arrows. Unrelated to the movie, but I thought it was funny that I watched the movie and then got a bow the next day. We're going to set up an archery range in the backyard, so that'll be fun. It'll give me a reason to go outside: I will release my inner warrior princess.
That's it, no excuses, just ramblings about what I've been up to.
Hope all is well, and have a wonderful week!
